Defnition: tonsillitis is a inflammation of tonsils two oval shaped of tissue at back of the thorax 

                         

     causes  

 tonsillitis is most common caused by viruses but bacterial infections can also cause it 

◆Streptococcus pyogenes
◆group A streptococcus       
                                  clinical  features
   ◆fever 
   ◆difficult of swollen or pain
   ◆white or yellow on the tonsils
   ◆stiff neck
    ◆headache
    ◆drooping due to difficult swallowing or painfull

COMPLICATIONS

 rheumatic fever an inflammatory disorder that effect 
 heart or joint

  glomerulonephritis inflammation of the kidney

DIAGNOSIS
 on physical examination open her/his mouth you are using light 
 and you check in the mouth specially around tonsils or thorax

 thorax swap you take simple swab to classify or to know which 
 one caused bacteria or virus

 complete blood count(CBC)   

TREATMENT

 ampicillin 50 mg/kg every 6 hour 10 days

 gentamycin > 6 month 5mg/kg daily 3 days

 paracetamol 30mg/kg per needed time
